Wasn’t it a Funkadelic record that asked the question “Mommy, where does a Compost Cookie come from?”

Well, regardless, we got the answer here for you, in video form. Featuring Ms. Tosi, maker of said cookie, and my daughter, who insists she’s the star.

We’ll post the recipe here tomorrow, though you can also find it on page 114 of the Milk Bar cookbook, or in various corners of the internet, like right here at the L.A. Times.
