What do you get when you mix primitive green screen technology, a supermodel, a baker, and a city they both love? This. The 5 Boro Kookie by Karlie Kloss and Christina Tosi

The written recipe for the cookie is right here. And if you enjoy this video, make sure to check Karlie & Tosi’s last video collaboration - a combination workout video-and-cookie recipe called the Perfect 10.

This video was underwritten by American Express: Christina is part of a program where they celebrate Cardmembers and their sources of inspiration. We just get to make the silly videos.

DO SOMETHING GOOD: Hi all, especially you New York Area Folks. We’re helping the nice people at the Bronx Academy of Letters throw their annual benefit on Tuesday, April 30th. Buy tickets HERE.
The school offers an excellent and free education to kids in a pretty tough neighborhood of the Bronx. I went up there at the beginning of the school year and was blown away by how cool and happy and motivated the students were.
Tony Bourdain will host. All kinds of awesome food people are contributing their time and food: Roberta’s, Prune, Babycakes, Chez Sardine, Mission Chinese Food, Ludobites, Del Posto, Briskettown, Momofuku, Toloache. My brother will be there to make cocktails, Sixpoint will send over a couple kegs, and I hope to have some more cool stuff lined up for the party to announce next week.
Thanks!
pfm
p.s. cake design by walter green, executed by Milk Bar, who will be there too!

Metro Area peeps! Tomorrow night, Tony’s co-hosting a benefit for the Bronx Academy of Letters. Lots of great food and drinks for a great cause. Get your tickets here n hope to see you there!
