The school offers an excellent and free education to kids in a pretty tough neighborhood of the Bronx. I went up there at the beginning of the school year and was blown away by how cool and happy and motivated the students were.
Tony Bourdain will host. All kinds of awesome food people are contributing their time and food: Roberta’s, Prune, Babycakes, Chez Sardine, Mission Chinese Food, Ludobites, Del Posto, Briskettown, Momofuku, Toloache. My brother will be there to make cocktails, Sixpoint will send over a couple kegs, and I hope to have some more cool stuff lined up for the party to announce next week.
